An Eligible clergy quits bachelorhood by Jennifer Duere







 March 30th 2013 will go down as an unforgettable day in the memories of former Miss. Miebi Diongoli and Pastor Wauton Knight as they quit the life of singles and got joined together in Holy Matrimony, in Yenagoa, bayelsa state.

 March 30th 2013 will go down as an unforgettable day in the memories of former Miss. Miebi Diongoli and Pastor Wauton Knight as they quit the life of singles and got joined together in Holy Matrimony, in Yenagoa, bayelsa state.

The event that drew family and friends, Pastors and member alike from all branches of Royal House of Grace international Churches. Among dignitaries that were in attendance are the General Overseer of Royal House of Grace International Churches, Apostle Prince David Zilly Aggrey, the resident pastor of Graceland HQ, Pastor Chibuzor Anucha, Pastor James Chukwu, Rev. Kikile, Rev. Mrs. Leghemo and some member of the Bayelsa State House of Assembly, where Pastor Wauton is currently working.


Other dignitaries who were present are Chief Okpoitari Diongoli, the former General Manager, Bayelsa Broadcasting Corporation. Mr. Ebikitin Diongoli, the Chairman, kolokuma/Opokuma local government area and many more.
This journey started some time last year, when at his birthday party, Pastor knight Knelt down in the presence of everyone and Miebi' amazement proposed to her.
Though she has been friends with Pastor Knight but this came as a complete shock to her. But she accepted his proposal, which led to this grand occasion.
While ministering at the wedding, Apostle Aggrey enjoined Pastor Knight to treat his wife with respect and take care of a emotional as well as physical and material needs. He said to deal with her with understanding, so that his prayers will not be hindered.

Advising the bride, the man of God told her to be humble and take care of her husband, like he was her king, president, chairman, her head etc. "Wake up pound yam for him at 2:00am if that is what he wants to eat", he concluded.
After the wedding, the reception took place at the same venue, with so much to eat and drink, with good music to dance to. Music was supplied by Elder Dempster.
Speaking with the couple, the bride had this to say, "I call him, 'mon cadeau' meaning my gift in French. He is truly a gift from God to me, I give God the glory". On his part, the groom said, "This is 'my own wife', I am too happy for words".
The couple thanked God for a clement weather, for everyone, who came to grace their day, they wished them journey mercies to their respective destinations.
